Condolences to all of you, who knew and loved Bud. He was my neighbor for years--and the only one who could fix my ancient boiler. A true gentleman and friend.

Bud always had the ultimate-keen insight into politics. I consider it to be a real privilege to listen to individuals like Bud Miller and John Stevenson. They knew the best direction. All politics is local.

I'm so sorry for the loss of Bud. I will miss him a lot. He was always wonderful to visit with and I truly enjoyed talking with him. One fun memory I want to share is that one day Boone and I were over visiting and as usual Bud would give Boone a couple of treats. After we left and walked back home, I had a friend stop by and Boone got loose. I try not to let him run loose in the neighborhood because he can be a little rascal, but before long, I saw Bud drive down my driveway. A door to the vehicle opened, and out hopped Boone, who ran up to the house, then Bud drove away. I gave Bud a few minutes to get back home before I called him to thank him. He laughed and said Boone was sitting on his steps, probably waiting for a treat. :)
I will really miss Bud.
Thinking of the family.
