Stella (Warren) Roberts, 103 of Whitefield, NH, passed away peacefully on Sunday October 29, 2017 at Morrison Nursing Home. She was born in 1914 in Roxbury, VT to Lillian (Kimball) and Labian Warren. She attended local public schools and married Edwin Roberts in 1934.
Stella and Edwin lived in Pomfret, VT then later moved to North Thetford, VT. She was a hard working farmers wife, keeping house, helping around the farm and raising 8 children. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles for 31 years, enjoyed listening to bluegrass music, attending bluegrass festivals and camping.
Stella is predeceased by her husband, Edwin, a daughter, Barbara Comstock, two sons, Daniel and Raymond Roberts, two brothers and a sister. She is survived by five daughters, Florence Lund, Dorothy Strout, Leola Bacon and her husband William, Lila Johnson and her husband Donald, and Susie King and her husband Daniel, as well as 21 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren, and 33 great-great-grandchildren.
There will be a Celebration of Stella’s Life at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 793 Main St. Bethlehem, NH on Friday November 3, 2017 at 1PM.
