Roxanne and I reconnected at the West Side Class of 1959 50th reunion, since, as I live in the Boston area, I was apparently the nearest fellow West Side alum. As a part of her admissions duties she occasionally made visits to my local high school. She collected old postcards, and dropped by once to present me with a postcard of an old Newark Chinese restaurant where my Dad had worked in his student days. I uploaded a picture of Roxanne and some other alums, including me, taken at the 55th reunion.

I have been thinking about Roxanne recently and just saw this on the net when I 'googled' her name. She was my supervisor in my TA at Temple; I still remember how we met at a basketball game that was being held at Cheney State when she said she wanted me to work for her. She was an awesome human being - a great mentor and friend. Condolences to the family.
