Roger A Bedard

Roger Arthur Bedard, 79, Littleton, died on Wednesday January 6, 2016 at the Grafton County Nursing Home in North Haverhill after a period of failing health. He was born in 1936 in Berlin, NH to Henry and Antoinette (Falardeau) Bedard.

 

Roger grew up in Berlin. He graduated from St. Patrick's Catholic High School in 1954. He served his country in the US Marine Corp. Reserves, fulfilling that commitment he enlisted in the US Army serving during the Korean War. After being honorably discharged from the Army in May 1959 he married Lucille Perreault at St. Joseph's Catholic Church on August 13, 1960. Roger was a communicant at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and a member of Knights of Columbus, O'Neil Council 1835. Roger retired from United Parcel Service after delivering packages to his friends and neighbors for over 30 years.

 

Roger is predeceased by his parents, a sister Joyce Pelchat, brothers Richard and David Bedard. He is survived by his wife, Lucille Bedard, a son Mark, a grand-daughter Caitlin and a great-grandson Thomas, a brother Donald, many nieces and nephews and friends Al and Gary.

 

Visiting Hours will be at Ross Funeral Home, 282 West Main St. Littleton, NH on Monday January 11, 2016 from 6-8PM. The Very Rev. Mark Dollard will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church on Tuesday January 12, 2016 at 10AM. Interment with military honors will follow at Glenwood Cemetery in Littleton.
