Monica Lynn Martin

Monica Lynn Martin, 54, of Littleton and Franconia died unexpectedly Thursday, June 11, 2015 at Littleton Regional Hospital after a brief illness. Monica was born in 1961 at Travis AFB, California. She graduated from Foran High School, Milford, CT and attended Central Connecticut State University. She was a gifted athlete who played volleyball, softball and basketball at the high school and collegiate level. Monica had a diverse work history. She loved working outdoors and had a great appreciation of nature and our environment.

Monica was predeceased by her father, Vincent B. Martin and is survived by her mother, Dorothy Jeanne Martin of Littleton. Monica leaves behind a large, extended family: Dale and Carol Martin, Pinson, Alabama; Terry Martin, Milford, CT; Michele (Martin) and Donald Walkley, West Palm Beach, Florida; Theresa Martin McKeown, Unionville, CT; Joan (Martin) and Tom Kuser, Milford, CT and Steve and Kim Martin, Jupiter, Florida. She was also a loving Aunt to seven nieces and nephews and nine great nieces and nephews. Monica will also be dearly missed by her aunt, Barbara Blewett and her family, Richard and Kathy Blewett and Jacquie (Blewett) and Ken Colburn.
