Marion Cormier

Marion (Fisher) Cormier, 91, Whitefield, died on November 24, 2015 at Weeks Medical Center in Lancaster. She was born in 1924 in St. Johnsbury, VT to Roy and Blanch (Covey) Fisher. She attended Concord, VT schools and on April 3, 1948 married Napoleon Cormier in Littleton.

 

Marion, as well as being a dedicated wife and mother, worked for the Gilman Paper Company, Whitefield Steam Cleaning, and Manchester Knitted Fashions. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Whitefield. She is survived by her children, Brenda Ruggles, Dale Cormier and his partner Carol, Robert Cormier and his wife Rose, and Shirley Cox and her husband Chris, eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her parents, her husband Napoleon, a grandson, Jeffery Ruggles, her siblings, Lillian Sheltry, Gwen Schmidt, Morris Fisher, and Harold Fisher.

 

There will be a graveside service on Friday, December 4, 2015 at 2PM at the Park Street Cemetery in Whitefield at 2PM with Rev. Aaron Cox officiating. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Northwoods Home Health and Hospice, 278 Main St. Lancaster, NH 03584.
