Irene C. (Frechette) Tellier

Irene C. (Frechette) Tellier, 84, of Lyndonville, VT, died peacefully Monday morning, Sept. 18, in the comfort of her home under the loving care of her daughter, Christine. Irene was born on Nov. 18, 1932, in Weedon, Quebec, Canada. A Daughter of Edmond and Lorianne (Turcotte) Frechette.

On May 17, 1952, she married the love of her life, Rosaire W. Tellier in Weedon. They lived their later years together in Lisbon and Littleton, NH.

She worked as a seamstress for many years while living in Canada and was a loving housewife. She also worked at New Hampshire Wood Products in Bath, NH, for many years alongside her husband and her children. She was a very talented artist. She loved to paint and draw pictures of scenery and her grandchildren. She also loved painting ceramics and had them displayed all over her home. She and her husband also made many crafts from wood and she would paint them. She loved dancing around her dining room to her favorite music. She adored her family, especially the grandchildren. She kept her pantry full of snacks and goodies for the kids and always made sure that no one went hungry.

She is survived by her four children, Serge Tellier, of Wells River, Celine and husband Brett Presby, of Lyman, Christine and husband Charles Robinson, of Lyndonville, VT and Marc and wife Debbie Tellier, of Littleton; Her two grandchildren whom she thought of as her own children, Matthew and wife Ronda Tellier of Littleton, and Mitchell Tellier of Naples, FL; Her sister, Laurence Frechette of Canada; Nine grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; Many step grandchildren and great grandchildren; Many nieces and nephews including her very special niece, Louise Mils of CT.

She is predeceased by her husband of over 50 years, Rosaire W. Tellier in 2002; Her son, Sylvain Tellier, in 1956; Her three sisters and one brother; Her great granddaughter, Coraline Boutin in 2010.

A special thank-you to her granddaughter, Staci Fournier, for being by her side and caring for her with such love.

A graveside service will be held Friday, October 06, at 2pm, at the Grove Hill Cemetery in Lisbon, NH. Those who wish may make donations in Irene’s memory to Caledonia Home Healthcare & Hospice, 161 Sherman Drive, St. Johnsbury, VT 05819.
