Diane (Ball) Robbins

March 30, 1947 ~ December 23, 2015 (age 68) 68 Years Old

Diane Cameron (Ball) Robbins, age 68, died December 23, 2015 at approximately 8:30 pm at Catholic Medical Center, Manchester, NH of medical complications.

Cam was born March 30, 1947 in Littleton, NH to Natalie C. Bodwell and Norwood A. Ball. She attended Dow Academy in Franconia, Littleton Middle and High School before graduating from Manchester Central High School in 1965.

Cam is survived by a brother, Gregory N. Ball (Eileen) of Franconia, NH and two half-brothers, David Ball of Dover, NH and Bradley Ball of Franconia, NH. Her other siblings, Robin B. Boyle and Christopher T. Ball predeceased her in 2007 and 2010 respectively. Beloved stepmother, Elizabeth “Betty” Ball predeceased her in 2012. Two sister-in-law’s, an uncle, three aunts, three sets of cousins, many nephews and nieces, and several grandnieces and grandnephews compete the surviving circle of life, some more connected than others, as is inevitable.

Cam lived in Berlin, NH for approximately the last thirty years, her last residence being Verdun Group Home. She made many friendships over the years including fellow clients and staff, a few of them continuing over twenty to thirty years.

Cam was loved for her friendliness, kindness, loyalty, intelligence but perhaps most of all for her smiles, laughter and extraordinary sense of humor in the face of life’s daily adversities.

An informal service for family and friends will be held at Cam’s gravesite at Elmwood Cemetery in Franconia, NH sometime in the spring.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Verdun Group Home and or Northern Human Services, 69 Willard Street, Berlin, NH 03570.
